After a few home built attempts I am looking into getting the L&R Gun Scabbard Bracket. Anyone have one? I see I can get a Koplin or Plano for less than half the price, but I already have a bunch of stuff on my back rack( cabelas 3 bucket holder, wood box for carrying chainsaw etc..) I like the idea of only putting this on for hunting season.

My concern is how well does this lock down. My deer stand is in some pretty thick stuff, I actually tipped my 400 this year. Will it stay in going over down trees and rocks?

And does someone know a good place (price) to get one?

Anybody recommend a non-polaris case holder?

I have one on my 800 and it works great. Used it all this hunting season in a lot of thick and rough stuff and it's never come loose. Installs and removes in seconds.

 

I have one for my 800 as well. On and off in no time, and it holds the gun nice and secure.
The only way to go in my opinion.
