Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

50-55 with a 225 person on board. Why is this important? This is too fast!

It is hard to slow down after riding dirtbikes and sleds for so long. The average sled dose 70mph at a min. My dirtbike goes 110mph down long fire roads. You make it sound so scary to go fast.

I had my scrambler 400 4X4 up to 68.7 on the GPS and the handle bars were shaking so bad I could not read the screen on the GPS anymore. I let off but I could have got more out of it on ideal conditions and no mud caked on the rims.

Unless it's a two stroke 400, you ain't going to get a hair past 55mph downhill with a 800 behind you pushing!! My brother and I baught new sportsmans in 2005. He got the 400 and I got the 500ho. Stock my 500 would run 55mph, after a few minor mods it would do 58mph. His stock 400 would do 50mph and level pavement and it took it forever. We ran these speeds with gps, if you're going by the speedometer then it's definetely not right. I recently upgraded to a sp800 and that's a different story.
