CAN-AM 500 EFI OR POLARIS 500 EFI ???

For rock crawling and shear utility prowess, go with the Polaris. It will give you a comfortable ride, get good fuel mileage, and get you over and through just about anything. For drag racing 500s, go with the Can-Am. It is said to have the most powerful 500 out there. Also, is said to have a comfortable ride. Not as good in the rocks though from what I have read.

In one of my magazines, mechanics were interviewed regarding common problems on the ATVs they worked on. The Can-Ams were said to have problems with the "Visco-Lock" system when larger tires were put on, as not enough revolutions would be produced a low speeds to keep the front wheels engaged and spinning.
Just wait until Polaris puts a KTM V-Twin in the Sportsman!

I have 2 friends with 800 Bombs and 2 with 400 bombs 2 with stock tires and 2 with 27" tires and all of them have had problems with the Visco lock, If you get a fron tire in the air it seems to spin forever and sometimes slam into 4x4 and it doesn't sound good

I can't believe you guys are actually discussing this. It's common knowledge that Polaris' have big reliability problems, and that the Can-Am Outlanders are the best bikes out there. And, with the new EFI models, you just can't go wrong. Read the reviews!
