thank you for your time,very much appreciated!!!!i was in 4 hi,cruz'in when i hit a whoop,and sent the rearend almost over the frontend,landed w/adrendlin,wasn't concerned at that moment of wear the quad was,as in running,wideopen,when i got'er stopped-i was going downhill.she was idling.i shut her downrelaxed,collected my bearing's!fired and?no takeoff,would move a little,motor 4500 rpm's,but not able 2 go up hill!put in low gear,4x4,took off up the hill,in hi,i could get a moving start and run up to 30,uphill-no,again.this is a 400 with ebs set-up,thought?front drive clutch.but before this,i tried 3 times to climb a sand dune,got 4 feet from top and stopped,ten went back and dropped off my g/friend,then the beginning started,sorry about this in the middle,any info helps thou.i replaced front drive clutch with a 103 hp comet clutch,same problem.HELPPPPPP PLEASE

Sounds like maybe you broke the buttons in the secondary driven clutch.

 

?i find them only on the non-ebs driven clutch break down,on the ebs driven clutch is showing taper rollers instead of button's

 

the problem is going to be in the secondary. i looked an 05' and it has the buttons.

 

I had a problem with my 02 700. Had no power in high gear but had all the power in low. Ended up being the bushings in the secondary got damaged. Its a roller clutch. Check out parts diagram on www.yourwaytofun.com Has complete listing of polaris parts diagrams.
