Default Idea to help heat problems on twins.

Was working on my 700 today and noticed the plastic cover on the lower radiator hose, to protect it from rubbing on the front diff was melted on then end. The exhaust pipe is putting out enough heat to melt this, so it also must be heating the water before it gets to the water pump. Went to the hardware store and bought some 3/4 pipe insulation and put over radiator hose from water pump to front diff, will let you know how it works, can't hurt it.

yes the twins run alot hotter then say the 500's. from what i read, ceramic coating the head pipe seems to really help.
