Default hand guards??????????

onesavage, I have had the Polaris brand on my 800 for over a year and I break alot of brush as well. They have held up just fine, I just bought a pair for Momma's X2. I don't know anything about the Moose brand guards. They flex just a bit and I think that this prevents them from breaking in hot and cold weather.

I got the black polaris guards and like them. I rolled my 800 last winter here in MN on a below freezing day and snapped one off. I just took a soldering iron and melted the plastic back together. Been good as new ever since.

I use the Kolpin's.......They have a built in mirror and have held up pretty well.

I have the Polaris ones but though I havent really done anything to hurt them, they certainly dont feel or look too sturdy - wish I did some homework and bought the ones crash has.

I got my moose hand guards at mfgsupply.com for $49.99, they seem
to stay flexable in the cold, I have not done any brushing with them.
They have them in various colors, email them if u have questions.
Make sure u get the correct part # for the color u want, & your machine
if u choose to go with them, their web site is not up to date.

Default hand guards??????????

I bought a pair of the Black Polaris handguards for the wif's S.P. 450 and just to let you know the mounts for the left and right are NOT the same as you would get on an Aftermarket pair.......They even have the longer bolts with the kit if you have the winch in/out button. I don't know if you will have enough room with the same mounting location with the others???.....Anybody run into mounting problems on there Polaris with the other handguards?//....Caper.........
