You can change the spring in the primary clutch, I put a green spring in my 425, it engages at a higher rpm whichs adds to the bottom but whatever you gain on the bottom you loose on top. it's about seven mph slower than with the stock blue spring.

 

see now that would not hurt my feelings at all!!!! as soon as the snow melts and i dont have to plow i will start playing with the clutching .. there has to be something to improve on the take off w/ larger tires ... i dont think weights would do it, i need more rpms and may be a differnt helix.. everbody says to put the stock tires on it a deal w/ it.. thats not going to happen ,, i am a auto tech and my motto is "STOCK SUCKS".. I JUST CANT LET THIS GO .. i am not buyin a bigger bike, mines paid for .. just needs some tweeking!!!

 

i put a differnt spring in our t.blazer and i had 1" bigger tires on it it does engauge higher put you then have to use your override just to back up. like i said b4 you can put a bigger sproket on back to get a little more low end and changing the helix changes the shift out ratio. by putting differnt weights in give you higher engaument into the power band more.

 

does anybody know of a company that makes a good performance exaust,, i have looked a little and have not found one......
