Default Scrambler 50

I just bought my youngest son a scrambler 50. Could someone please explain the electric choke to me...it runs great but is very hard to start when cold and I need to know how the electric choke works so I can properly diagnose it. Thanks in advance

they make a manual choke for those to replace the electric ones, they didn't have very good luck in the cold temps with the lectric one. I think the manual one costs about 40 bucks.

nobody knows how they work, because nobody has ever seen one that did. i just used a primer type fuel enrichmant bulb on my grandsons 90. i used a model airplane fuel tank fitting, drilled and tapped the carb throut, near the oil injection port, and fed the fuel from the primer into the carb., at that point. total cost 20.00 including the drill and tap.......stroker

I love homemade innovations...thank you. Does anyone know if the manual choke upgrade actually works?

call bob at bobs cycle in crossville illinois he will have the kit in stock. My daughters '01 50 had the electric choke when we bought it for her, it would not run once it warmed up. Put the kit in, and runs like a dream now.

I thought the Polaris dealers could not sell parts for the 50cc machines anymore due to the "Ban of Kids ATV's and Motorcycles"?

I hope I am wrong...
