I'm sure this has been covered before. Is the plow that Cabela's sells very good or is there another brand that would be better? I'm wanting to get a plow but don't know what to buy. Nobody in my area sells plows so Cabela's would be the easiest for me. Does the manual lift work easy? Does anybody know who makes them?

I can not speak for the Cabela's plow, but can tell you that I bought one from my dealer and it works great. It was made by Kimpex. They are from Canada. Mine has the lift handle instead of the winch. less money and it works quicker than the winch.

I got the Cabela snow plow and it is working great! Heavy duty construction and I am very pleased with the fit. I pushed 8in worth these past couple days with my 2000 KQ. The skids are adjustable for height adjustments, and it swivels to push snow to the side.

The manual handle is fairly easy to lift the blade. I'm not feeling an ache in the shoulder or arms from lifting it. I would say 25 to 30 pounds of force required.

The Cabela's plow is made by CMP. I purchased a CMP plow from Shadetree last year. I really like the set up. It really pushes snow pretty good. I don't have the manual lift, so I don't know how well it works. You will not be disappointed with this plow.

Look in Cycle Country's snowplow. I bought one, and it fit, worked as advertised, and did a great job. Also, check out Moose Utilities, as they also have snow plows...
