Default ATV Insurance

In Ontario ATV insurance is mandatory if you ride your bike anywhere but private property. I just got my renewal for the new bike and here is the deal. My 03 Scrambler was $575 for the year, fully covered except collision. I didn't think that was too bad. Now I got the new bike in December so it was just transfered from one bike to the other. Now I get the paperwork for the renewal due in March. So I got a $266 dollar credit for the remainder of the year with the Scrambler being cancelled. Then a $67 fee to transfer the new bike to the policy, That was crap! I was going to fight it untill I found out that the new bike is only $308 a year. So with my $266 credit my new bike is only going to cost me $108 for the entire year of 07!!!! I couldn't believe the news. A 4 year newer bike with the same sized engine, is 1/2 the price!! I guess the Scambler was considered a sport bike even with 4x4 and the new couch is not. I don't really have a point to my rambling but I was pretty excited and I wanted to tell someone. If anyone else has insurance, I'm curious to here who pays what.

No Caper I don't ride with my agents cause then I'd never get covered!!!! LOL For comparison, My buddy with his 06 Rubicon pays $550 a year with the bare minimum coverage. And also don't forget I'm only 23. When I started drivng I had a 91 F150 and I was paying over $400 a month, now with my 03 F150 fully covered I'm only paying $140 a month. Now thats a drastic comparison.
