Hey Guys~
Well, it's snowing right now, been snowing all morning, and is supposed to snow for the rest of the day! 6-8 inches of fresh new powder!! Highs in the single digits and teens for the rest of the week! Winter is finally here! Now I just have to kick myself in the butt because I haven't rejetted my machines yet!! Went out riding the TW200 this morning...didn't go too well through about 10 inches of the white stuff!! Gonna have to put it away for the winter Time to stick with the 4x4s!!

Fasternu that happened to you to, I live just over in vermont and we had the same weather, Let me tell you I was ripped. I was having so much fun in the snow like you were and then we get this sudden change in weather thats good ole new england for ya.LOL. (not really).
Now everything is iced over but I heard that we are going to be getting snow from now until christmas, lets hope it stays that way.

Whats snow ?
Here in Perth , Australia its about 35 degrees celcius right now. It gets down to about 24 c at night. The only snow we get is in the freezer
and in the mountains on the east coast in our winter ( your summer )

 

I live just 20 minutes south of Rangeley Maine and we had all rain too. Winters have been getting worse and worse over the last few years even in the western mountains. Guess its time to sell the sled and buy another quad.

 

ahh sucks to be in maine with the rain.here in illinois we got about a foot of snow.its hard to ride my 400ex in this weather so i ride my 99' mxz 600 which i like a lot better than my 400ex.

 

35degrees Celsius in Perth,I'd love it,how about snakes?I hate snakes,spiders,etc.I also hate tons of snow on my driveway.

Well Mainers, here is comes again. They say some more snow for us. But of course here on the coast where I live, they say it will be a mix of snow/sleet/rain. That figures. They still say maybe 4" for us. The rest of Maine looks to get some good snow though.

 

That is my kind of place! I enjoy snow riding, don't get me wrong, but instead of having to bundle up two hours just to ride 10 minutes, then have to go to the bathroom, I would much rather just put on a jacket, hop on, and go!

As an aside, we had an exchange student from Perth when I was in high school, way back when computers were coal fired. Nice girl. She thought I had a funny accent, though (along with 90% of the people in the school).

 

I hear yeah we had 15 inches up here in Caribou, they had 2 feet in Fort Kent. we went 61 miles saturday really good conditions. then it poured! but we are getting 10 inches today and tommorow will bring it all back. yeah it seems the only good snow is up here and further north, they get pounded in fort kent, houlton had none we had 15 inches and Fort kent had 2 feet!
