Default 2006 Sportsman 500 oil change

2006 Sportsman 500 H.O.-Does anybody know the easiest way of accessing the oil drain plug on the bottom of your motor. It's nearly impossible to screw the plug back in after draining the cup full of oil that remains in the motor when doing an oil change. The darn cut out on the skid plate ain't nearly big enough to get your hand into to put the plug back in. Also, if you don't have your front drive shaft turned the right way, the u-joint interferes with getting the oil plug lined up just the right way. Is there a certain kind of wrench that would make this any easier? Sorry to ramble on folks, I was just wondering. Thanks

Why can't you use a socket and extension to start the plug?

i've got the memory of a knat, lol i have a hard time remebering what i had for dinner let alone something last spring. lol. i would use a swivel socket w/ a magnet to hold the bolt in to replace it.
