roketa or polaris
#41
After a quick Google search, it appears there is a Roketa dealer or two in Peoria, Arizona area. (Same as Robert101.) Could it be that Robert101 is one of the Roketa dealers trying to drum up some business? If not, he's trying to justify the money he spent on his "Chinese Polaris."

Polaris 50s and 90s and the Phoenix 200 and Sawtooth are made in Taiwan.
Can-Am's minis, the Rally and the DS-250 are also made in Taiwan.
I'm pretty sure the Arctic Cat minis and their 250 DVX are also made in Taiwan.
So all the North American Companies are having their small stuff made in Taiwan.
The Chinese stuff is getting better every day. They are improving their products quickly, using parts from Taiwan, (bearings, wiring), and Japan, most notably Mikuni and Keihin carburators.
I just bought a Chinese JetMoto 150 for my son because of the specs, not the price. It weighs 314 lbs, thats what a 150 should weigh, and it is 43" wide. The leadweight Taiwan 150 to 250s weigh 390 to 429 lbs. and are narrower. A Japanese 400 or 450 weighs 360 lbs.
Look at the JetMoto in my pix page. Auto, reverse, I added the ITP wheels and Holeshots.

The quad you are refering to is a copy quad. However it is a very good one (Rocketa ATV-61)
it uses a GN300 Loncin/Suzuki engine, not a copy the real deal (larger version of the GN 250 bike engine that have HP ratings as high as 25 ponies) 292cc 4 valve OHC air cooled.
some folks out there dont realize it is becoming a true world market. The folowing all produce product and or parts in China.
Honda -
Yamaha-
Suzuki-
Toyota-
Mikuni-
(just to name a few of the big ones)
Thanks Rob.
