Welcome to the forums Twiztid.

I stay with the weight that Polaris says. On mine, it's 0w-50, and I use synthetic. Mobil 1, but there are many other brands out there beside the stuff Polaris sells.

Check your manual and stick with that weight. The brand choice is yours. I say whatever you feel comfortable with.

I think it's 0w40 for that model.

I could be wrong, so the wife has told me before.

0-40 Mobil 1 is what I use in my 500. 5-30 is wayyy to thin. Maybe 10-30 in cold weather months, but even then 0-40 is the best year 'round choice.

We have 95 Magnum 425 and it calls for 0-40..This is the same for all Polaris four strokes...My 2007 Sportsman 500 EFI uses the same oil..You can also use NAPA 1358 oil filters...HOPE THIS HELPS AND RIDE SAFE...
