Default Annual Service

Just wanting to get an idea of what everyone is paying to have your machine serviced. Not just an oil cheange, I mean the works. I called 2 dealers here (Cookeville, TN) and there was a $60 price difference. I'm not that handy turning a wrench, or I'd give it a go myself. Anyway, best price so far is $130. Thanx for the input!

My brother had even more of a difference. One dealer quoted him $250 for oil/filter change, clean air filter, change fluids(diffs) new spark plug, adjust brakes, clean carb and adjust idle. Another one said $150. He did a oil change and cleaned his air filter recently so they knocked off $30. I'm sure you know which one he took

The place that said $250 is where I bought my bruin from and had its first service done...yes for $250..needless to say that will be the last time I will EVER bring any atv there EVER again.

most sevices dont include cleaning a carb. kinda of goes if aint broke dont fix it. i paid 89.00 for my first service for my 800 thinking that it was a complete service. wrong, it was for a oil change and some grease. i went thru the roof when i found out. needless to say i serviced my 450 my self. note; if you have a warranty machine(like my 800 is 3 yrs.) you have to have a dealer documented service for it to be covered under warranty. since the 450 only had a 6 months warr. i didnt have any thing to loose. i do beleave a total sevice is about 140.00 and above. i would ask what the service intails b4 i agreeded to have it done. that way theres no surpises.

I have a 4 year warranty (yes, stupid me) does that mean I can't do my own oil changes? Or is it just the scheduled services? I know for my bike its 20 hours then every 100 after that.
Now that you mention it I don't think they cleaned the carb, I was rattling off too many things I guess..lol

Back to the topic... Looks like $130-150 is the range is the average so far
