Default No Sway Bar

I see alot of description's of ATV's on Polaris Sportsman that say NO SWAY BAR. What will this do to benefit the ATV? Thank's

Default No Sway Bar

benefit: more independent suspension travel, better chance of keeping both rear wheels in contact with the ground while moving over extreme terrain such as rock crawling.

cons: more body roll at speed while cornering, less control of machine at speed.

No huge rock crawling here just trails, dirt roads, fire trails MD and WVA mountains. Thank's for the feedback.

Default No Sway Bar

Here's a pic of one without the sway bar ,you can see the bike stays level even on very uneven terrain.SP without Sway Bar some people make a quick disconnect set up for the particular riding day they will have.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

leave it be then, you will need it for stability. gotta really ride in pretty nasty stuff to benefit from removing it. be safe!
