I think it would because a built 250 trailblazer will smoke one that is stock.

2-strokes put out about twice the power as a 4-stroke, kind of. either way they make more power. the 2-stroke 400 is HELLA more motor than an air-cooled 4-stroke 400... The Honda will be lighter though.

There was a 2-stroke 400 polaris sport at st joes mo. that could outrun my quadzilla in a about a 400 or 500 ft drag race.He had ALOT of work done to his polaris though. So yes I believe you could probably get your 400 to beat a 400ex but you better get your wallet out.

A 400ex beats a stock 400 scrambler by about 5 lenghts or so.The scrambler gets it of the start. But thats it.Im not bashing the scrambler because i love them. But when i had my 400ex it outperformed our scrambler pretty easy.

Top speed of a stock scrambler 400 is about 65-70 from everything i've read, the 400ex is supposed to do about 70mph stock, it should be pretty close stock to stock but add a pipe to the scrambler and u should take the gutless honda, cough noballs cough lol

I really dont think a scrambler will be close to 400ex in a drag race

I also raced our scrambler with my 400ex.And we both had pipes. And it was the 400ex by 1-2 lenghts. When we switched riders it was still about the same. This was on the road.

the stock scrambler has 38 horse power stock and is liquid cooled, and 2 stroke, the honda is aircooled and i do not know the horsepower, if both bikes were piped and jetted properly the scrambler should walk all over the honda from what i've experienced and read. the stock vs stock the ex might come out on top but after minor mods the scram should win
