yeah i think you did stendori, well i take it this way, we are all here to give a little advice that we picked up over the years and share it with people just like us, so if stendori has 3000 posts on here we should be telling him thanks.

I appreciate the postings. I bought a Battery Tender today and I'm going to charge it up to see if it holds the charge. This should test if the battery is still good. If the battery checks out I'll check the battery on the quad while it?s running to see if it maintains 12.5+ volts. I'll keep you guys posted.

On a side note, I'm sure I speak for all new members to the ATV community for being appreciative of all the responses we get from the ?veterans? such as yourselves. I personally like to have a little knowledge of something before diving into repair work. For instance, I?m not even sure if it was wise to jump my battery. If I pumped to many Amps into it I could've fried the LCD or my lights. I didn't know the electrical was that sensitive on these machines. I think these forums save people a lot of time and money...So keep posting

nate, you are correct onsaying you are not suppose to jump start w/ say a car as it could cause samage tp the electronics but i dont know of anyone one that has. its still up for debate on here. w/ the bike running you should see at least 13 to 14 volts at a higher idle say around 3,000 rpms. dont mind helping out w/ any knowledge that we have, and i was pretty tired last night when i got insulted. should have let it go instead of responding. sorry to interfear w/ the post thread.
