I'm in Longmont Colorado at about 5K feet. I bought my preddy used from a dealer. It was raced at the tracks nearby and is setup PERFECT for about 5K feet.

Walden Sand Dunes are about ~8-9 K feet.

thanks for any help!

im pretty sure that if you take a few discs off the pp pipe it will change it so you dont need to rejet

I've thought about doing that......

Maybe I will try it.

Last season when I had it at the dunes, it needed a little help, hence the question.

thanks!

I'd think the disks would do it.....if not.....just get a jet above, and below what you are running now(I'm not sure how altitude affects jetting)......so then you can adjust it, while there.....doesn't take but about 10 min.

Bradracer
Ive got a couple year old preddy. The only way it will run is with the choke on.
I took the carb apart last nite cleaned it out, blew air though the jets. back together, same problem. Any suggestions?

well then your jetting is whacked, heater. just buy a jet kit and you'll even notice a slight improvement over stock power.
