Be sure to check the piston to cylinder clearance in a couple spots and if it is anywhere near the limit bore it.
It may seem like I am pushing you to bore it out but I have tried it both wayss and ended up tearing down twice.

well ordered parts today. it will be bored 20 over. it was a little over standard and the guy at the shop said it would not hold up if you did not bore it. he gave up the weisco piston for the price of the bore. the piston in the kit is teflon coated. who sells a oil injector block off kit for this and ftwflh what color spring would you recomend in the clutch while it tore down.

HPD or HSP have oil block offs.THe piston you are going to use will be ok.The wiesco thing is a must only on the 400s
If you are running a stock pipe a Polaris white primary will do good(stock spring for a 400 Scrambler)If you are running an aftermarket pipe go with the kit the manufacturer recomends.
