My buddy picked up one last week, and was surprised that the deluxe had single exhaust! He wasn't too concerned, that isn't important to him, he just "ASSUMED" it came with the duals!

He doesn't read much, that's why he doesn't come here to hang out! LOL!!! He trades in quads when they get about 100-150 miles on them, he just traded in a 500 X2 with 55 miles on it!

I was told by my sales guy (whatever that's worth) Polaris took out the second muffler for cost and weight savings. I was not happy about that. I talked to the parts guy and he said don't even think about adding a second muffler. He claims the engine is not set up for it and you would only lose power. This machine still sounds good even though it has one muffler. I still think I need a clutch kit.

I haven't seen his yet, but I've seen plenty on the showrrom floor, they are nice. They have the same exhaust setup as the 700's, there is a "Y" right at the engine. The double tube header gives more bottom end. When you're in the "stuff" it is nice to have more low end!

see i read somewhere esle that adding a true dual exhaust makes it loose power on the dyno. i think the duals on mine just make it sound great compared to the stock single exhaust. i have heard the 700 singles as well as the 600 and they dont hols a candle for sound. this is just to me anyways.
