1: I have two Polaris bikes and love 'em.
BUT
2: Polaris ought to bite the bullet and offer ADC on every new 4 WD utility bike they make free of charge.
3: They should make it a low cost retrofit for older bikes.
I say this because late model Polaris bikes have two features that make repeated long steep descents, some of the extreme trails in Black Mounitain Park in Harlan County Ky. for instance, a real cfhallenge. An agressive EBS that acts for all intents and purposes on the real wheels only. And the damn stupid combined braking system.
I can't count the number of times my ATP tried to swap ends on me, on the steep descents last time I was down there, but it was a bunch, most of the time I found myself slapping the bike in neutral before the bad ones just too keep the EBS out of the equation. Now if you had seperate front and rear brakes on a bike you could feather your rear brakes to keep the backs from sliding but the damn stupid combined brake prevents this.
End of rant.

Ya, it's counter-intuitive to give the motor gas to stop a rear wheel slide when descending a hill with the EBS on.
I remember reading a trick to fake it into 4 wheel EBS. IIRC,
Start down the hill and stop.
Put the machine in reverse and spin the tires. This engages the front.
Put it back in low and descend the hill.
I tried it once and it may have worked. It wasn't a super steep hill so I am not positive.
