Default Factory Aluminum Sportsman Wheels

Anyone out there running 26/9/12 on the front of their Sportsmans (Deluxe with aluminum wheels)? I've got some 26 XTRs that I'm putting on my X2, and am a little concerned about them rubbing on the strut. The 8" POSes that came on it are fairly close..

Thanks

I have 27x9s on factory wheels. Yes they are tight, but 3/8s washer on all the studs and I'm comfortable with the clearance so far. We'll have to see how the tie rod ends hold up when the d@nm snow finally melts.

There seems to be lots of threads. If there wasn't it wouldn't be too hard to put longer studs in. I was worried about having washer imprints in the backside of my rims, but so far so good. Just remember to keep checking the torque on the aluminum wheels. I think it's 100 ft/lbs

not sure if your running alum. rims right now, but remeber you cant go from steel rims to the alum. ones w/out changing to a longer stud.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Guess I'll find out later today. The new machine is at the dealer, so I dropped the tires off yesterday so he could switch em over before I pick it up tonight. I think they'll be ok. Worse comes to worse, I just space em out a little. I'm psyched, that thing looks awesome. Pictures on the web don't do the color justice. Might be too pretty to put in the mud. Ya right!

I believe they are just 3/8 coarse bolts, could be picked up at any hardware store, but I would recomend a grade 5 or higher bolt. You defintly don't want to bread any going down the trail
