Default what boots are you using?

Well I know this subject has been discussed before , but I was looking for a little RECENT experience with CV boots.

I have used the gorilla boots in the past (four or five years ago) in the front and had problems with fit and rubbing on the strut. (I have heard they fixed the problem)

So I went back to the stock part # 522299 these as we all know have way to short of a life span for such a pain in the a$$ job it is to replace.

I have heard of a Polaris part # 2202629 heavy duty boot, but have not tried it.

So what I am asking here is; what is everyone using for boots ???.Gorilla, Stock or HD Polaris,

Any replies would be greatly appreciated

I recently ordered a front boot for my bike on e-bay.............Nothing but freak'n problems, the boot didn't fit good and the clamps are too big for strut housing.....I finally went to the dealer and bought the stock boot kit that came with the earless style clamps, it fit like a glove. I had had to by a special tool for the clamp, but it was only 16 bucks.I will never buy another boot!.... I don't know the part number but as far as the life span of the boot ....ive been reading alot about these stick stoppers and I just about have myself convinced to buy some...Hope This helped

stick stoppers do work really well, but there is no cure all for riding in bad crap. we always stop after going thru some nasty stick laiden holes and clean out by the boots and check boots.
