Default 2004 700 Running terrible

I been trying to figure out my problem for a while now. My quad has only 350 miles on it. It starts and idles but a little rough. It has absolutley no power whatsoever. While in neutral, I can literally hold the throttle all the way down and it will barely get to 4000 rpms. while in gear, I can go full thottle and it will barely get up and go. It seems like its misfiring or something. It doesnt pop or backfire, just no power and vibrates quite a bit. I removed the carb yesterday, and blew out all the jets, and cleaned it, still no help. I was thinking maybe a fouled plug, but if i remove either plug wire it wont even start. It almost seems like a timing issue or something. I am getting very frustrated, since I spent 8,000 dollars on this thing and I have had tons of problems with it, and only 350 miles! Help!

check for spark in both cylinders and inspect your plugs. make sure the plug caps are on tight. i know they can seem to be on but not making a good connection. it happened to me before, i had no idea what it was and it ended up being that the plug wire wasn't making a good connection so i replaced it. the new one fit better too

take your plug wires out and inspect them, chances are they have worn through somewhere and are shorting out, I had the same thing happen to me, only ran on one cylinder.

Check the bottom of the boot that joins the carb to the engine. They tend to crack on the bottom and it will run like crap. A good test is while you have it running move the carb up and down. If it changes your idle that is what your problem is .

sounds like a carb issue.

I thought for sure that was your problem. I,m only guessing now, but did you try pulling the choke out a bit to see if it gets better or worse while the engine is under load. Maybe there is some reason it's not getting the fuel.

While it was running I had the air filter off, and held it at 3000 rpm, and gave it a quick shot of carb clean, and it bogged, rather than sped up. I assume its not starving for fuel, if anything it smells rich. I cant figure it out??

just pull the carb off and service it to elimitnate that as an issue. did you make sure there wasnt any water in the gas , fuel filter isnt plugged. if will run boggy w/ the air filter off. air filter clean? if you can pull out plug to see if its running lean,or rich.

I already cleaned the carb, took it off, removed the bowl and top cover and blew everything out(jets) etc. Put it back in still the same. Changed fuel filter. Thats why Im thinking something with the Ignition? Plugs, wires, Etc.
