Scooter... what sprocket did you use? Did it help top or bottom end? I just replaced my sprockets and chain due to a spun front, I stayed stock 11/40 but was curious for future refence... and did you have to get a longer or shorter chain?

Did those mods help alot? I have considered the hotseat performance upgrade but didn't know how much it really helps.

Went with a 12 tooth front sprocket, needed to get rid of some of the bottom end. Had too much torque. Would be in a sandy bottom and from a dead stop, it's spin the tires and dig a hole. Also went with the pink primary spring.

The chain, I honestly couldn't tell. I had hit a rock that split the old chain lenghtwise. How it made it back to camp, I don't know. But it took three teeth off the front sprocket too. So just bought new sprockets and chain. Didn't really count the links, just put it on, got the size right, and tightened it. If you have a new chain, it should still work with the sprocket change.

The sprocket choice is really just gonna be a personal preference. I'd put the kit on first and ride it. See if you want more top or bottom end. The adjust that by changing the sprocket. It didn't make a night and day difference, but I could it did change it some.

The FMF on mine made a nice difference and sounded cool. IF you get the FMF pipe, UNI or K&N filter, EPI pink primary and regear it will really wake it up. I also had 24" tires so that was mu main reason for regearing.

I really like the FMF pipe, sounds much better with it, I'm running it with all park arrester plates but without the silent core. My stage one came with a uni filter and black and white spring, definetly improved the bottom end... I can actually do wheelies now...LOL... drawback is that Ilost some top end, but the riding i enjoy most is trails so it doesn't really matter... I have a suzuki lt250r for going fast and jumping. I put the 140 jet in the carb but I think I'm running rich (black residue on pipe) so I think I'll drop down a jet size, I think the next he sent was a 137. Adjusting the pilot screw on the trail boss is a bitch due to the location. Anyone have any ideas on this , what jet sizes are you running with this kit on the trail boss.. oh yeah, location wise, I'm from central IL

With just some custom clutch mods I got my 330 where it will cruise close to 55mph and not power out on steep hills.
This while still keeping the stock "quiet"muffler "
