The chain, I honestly couldn't tell. I had hit a rock that split the old chain lenghtwise. How it made it back to camp, I don't know. But it took three teeth off the front sprocket too. So just bought new sprockets and chain. Didn't really count the links, just put it on, got the size right, and tightened it. If you have a new chain, it should still work with the sprocket change.
The sprocket choice is really just gonna be a personal preference. I'd put the kit on first and ride it. See if you want more top or bottom end. The adjust that by changing the sprocket. It didn't make a night and day difference, but I could it did change it some.

I really like the FMF pipe, sounds much better with it, I'm running it with all park arrester plates but without the silent core. My stage one came with a uni filter and black and white spring, definetly improved the bottom end... I can actually do wheelies now...LOL... drawback is that Ilost some top end, but the riding i enjoy most is trails so it doesn't really matter... I have a suzuki lt250r for going fast and jumping. I put the 140 jet in the carb but I think I'm running rich (black residue on pipe) so I think I'll drop down a jet size, I think the next he sent was a 137. Adjusting the pilot screw on the trail boss is a bitch due to the location. Anyone have any ideas on this , what jet sizes are you running with this kit on the trail boss.. oh yeah, location wise, I'm from central IL
