Before the MV7 springs it kinda sat up higher in the front and everytime you accellerate, especially on hills, the rear would drop leaving no clearance back there and the front would point high making me almost feeling like I'm gonna break my bars trying not to slip off the back. Now it feels like I am riding high again as it raised the back up 3/4 ths of an inch and doesn't squat so bad in the rear on accelleration. I do love them but you have to appreciate a little stiffer ride than stock though.

So what tools do you use to adjust
the springs? Also, should there be some
kind of ratio depending on weight? Like
I am a big guy (350 lbs) running everything
pretty much stock (tires, springs currently)
what should my setings be on?

Thx,

R'

r, you would need to put your rear shocks on the stiffest setting i would beleave. when i put my 1 1/2" spacers in it does set a little(not much) low in the rear. i have the shocks on the 2nd to the lightest setting and have to up it when i get time.

Okay Spanner wrench is that what I need to adjust
these shocks? Okay how do I know 2nd to the last
setting and that kind of thing? are they numbered?
Is the highest number the stiffest or softest? After I
set the rear to whatever number what should my
front be on?

You could use a big pair of pliers but thats going to chew up the finish. The shocks have notches and the notches increase the pressure on the spring. Not hard too miss.

R-like bombaman said, I used large channel locks, jacked up bike to take weight off. Only think your rears are adjustable? You might try stiffest or one back from it. Adjuster is at bottom of spring.

Everytime I order crap from RockyMTN I forget the spanner wrench. Do the channel locks work ok?

Bombaman-Yeah they worked well, but it is a large pair, no slip or damage. Take care.
