Nice pictures. How does Richland forest compare to Wayne National Forest? I would like to ride some of the other state forest, but if they are not as good as Wayne, I won't waste my time. Where to you ride primarily? I will post a thread in the Spring when we are planning a trip to Wayne. We always welcome more riders and have a mixed bag of riders. Both men and woman and sport and utility quads. We always have fun and if would be fun to actual meet someone behind the type. Have a good Christmas and a safe new year.

BTW - Damn its cold up here in Toledo. It was -2 degrees this morning with a -39 windchill. Too cold for atv riding for me

Hey Magnum, definitely look me up when you are going to Wayne. Richland is not nearly as groomed, there are a lot of rail buggy trails down there that are VERY rutted up. Lots of rocks too. Ground clearance is a premium. There are some monster mud holes, that can be lots of fun. Some are so deep nothing goes thru them. There always seems to be a first time rider with that group that falls for the "I bet ya can't make it through that hole", and then everyone rides around the stranded rider splashing mud and water all over the gullible person. HA! That's why I tell my wife and other friends, if you hear "I bet ya can't..... " Stop listening, because whatever is about to be said is impossible. HA!
I have a friend of a friend that owns a cabin and some property close to there, that's why I ride there. I wouldn't go in lieu of a trip to Wayne, but heck I have fun riding in my back yard sometimes so it's still fun.
I do the majority of my riding on public land in Wayne, my wife is from Chillicothe and her brother has some land and permission to ride on LOTS of land down there, so that is where I ride most often. Their family also has land in West Virginia that is some of the best scenic riding. I can't wait to go to Hatfield/McCoy.
Hey it's downright balmy here in Columbus, it's 7. Above zero.

I will definitely look you up in the spring for some Wayne rides. I did get brave (or stupid) enough to go out riding this afternoon after work. I quit when I couldn't keep my goggles from freezing and my eye lashes were freezing. We ride a lot in the Maumee state forest since it is about 4 miles away. It isn't very good riding, but its better than nothing. Have a safe holiday.

Check out the Wayne pictures on my website.
