there have been rumors of a true 800 cc if so i would wait until 08' i probably wil get it if it does come just because im a power hound lol. you know the best way to find out is to test ride one your self. if you were closer i would let you try mine but you have to wipe off the drool lol.

Thats good Stendori, a nice chuckle, eheh
I thought you were going to say about wiping
something else off of the seat. Okay to those
that care, I have ridden my cousin's '06 - 800
a few times. Lots of power. Problem with him
is I can never get'em out to ride with me, it
just sits in his garage mostly year around.
I like your tidbit on the 08 line up. If more power
is expected, maybe I will wait. As for price slashes
on the end of year '07's though, did Polaris fix
all those melting plastic-heating issues?
Thx,
R'

I havent seen alot of melting plastic even on my 06, but I am carefull and make sure my side panel and seat are on right before I ride it. The 07s have a better heat shield and more metal tape on the plastic. The worst one I've seen is my friends 705 700. He put a highlifter 2" lift on it and moved the exhaust as per the directions. He completly ruined his rear fnders on the right side.

I had a 05 Ernhart 700 took it in to dealer for some work, the salesman gave me his 05 800 until mine was fixed well I still have it. My 700 had a White Bros. exhaust, clutching & a programer on it & it was no match for the 800. Do what I did and buy the 800.

I had the chance to ride a honda 450 4x4 over the weekend. It did a whopping 19 mph up the long hill into the mountain. Yes I did say 19 mph wide open. My 700 efi will run close to 60 mph up the same hill. The power difference is huge. The sp500 ho will do close to 55 up the same hill. There was no thrill in the 450 at all. I can't understand how any one can find any fun in riding machines so low on power. No wheelies, no power slides, might as well ride a lawn mover. I can see why the honda will run for ever, its not fast enough to break or stress any of its parts.
