I really like my Hawkeye and its an 06. I hear the 07's are much better with improved clutching (lighter rollers) improved ride with a small torsion bar, and better carb settings.

I have read all about the carb prob they had seems to me it was just improper componets from factory so I am sure they fixed that this time around. The only thing I could say bad about this atv is speed for the few times I may open it up its a dog but that 2% of riding I can live with for the great crawling ability this thing has

I agree about the speed, but that's not how I ride. My average speed is probably less than 10 MPH, crawling through the mountains of east Tennessee, over rocks, through some mud, etc. It crawls with the best of them. I put 25" mudlites on it and the ride is MUCH better than stock.

I have read that ALOT 25" mudlites. I dont think I want to go that big I'm thinking of 23" or 24" Now I just gota decide on tire make (prefer a mud type) and what rims I want, I realy liked the setup on the LE hawkeye but they are 23" and now I'm thinking of going with a Black aluminum rim. HATE the stock rims on the plain 4x4

I'm with you, I really like my Hawkeye. Only thing I could complain about is the stock tires, I like a more agressive tread. I don't worry about speed, I didn't buy it for that, and it isn't a sport quad anyway.

I have mounted up a 2000# Venom winch, hand guards, their "deluxe" front brush guard, a set of Cycle Country front CV boot guards, and the most important thing IMO, the auxillary oil cooler. I made a set of studs to replace the mounting bolts and mounted a perferated sheetmetal guard in front of it.

I'm having a hard time finding 24" tires for the rims. I can find 25" tires, but I have read where they rub on the rear of the footboards.

I will prob be going with Carlisle 489 A/T's here is a link to a merch that has a nice setup for finding sizes
http://www.rockymountainatv.com/home.do

I just found that a 2006 Polaris Magnum 330 4x4 comes stock with
Front Tires 24 x 8-12
Rear Tires 24 x 11-12

this helps with alot of searching on sites that are not upto date with new models
let me know how you make out. I realy like lugs with sipping something Carlisle doesnt have so still looking here
