I'm pretty sure I do, but I need to get a spark tester and a compression tester. It did this to me a few days before it broke down. It was a PITA to start and then it just fired up and ran great for days.

you can test the spark by holding the spark plug next to the head and turning the motor over. then put your finger over the spark plug hole to give you an idea with compression while turning the motor over

So I pull the spark plug and keep the spark plug wire attatched. Then I out it near the head while turning it over. What am I looking for? Sparks I would guess?

I hope it's just a spark issue. I've been worried that it is a compression problem. I ca't get a truck back to where it is, plud that would have to be a long rope lol. I'll give the spark plug a test next time I'm out there. We are getting 5" of rain today and tomorrow, so I don't think I'll be out there for the next few days.
