My father is interested in getting a Diesel. How do you (owners) like them? Are they very work oriented? Torque/power wise? Speed isn't a factor.

Don't have one, but drove one around & talked to the owner a while.
Very much for work. Good thing speed isn't a factor, for they are NOT fast. Good ride with the IRS like the Sportsman. I would put it against any other 4 wheeled ATV in a hitch to hitch pull contest. They are also very easy on fuel, just seem to go & go on a gallon of diesel.
They are also heavy, which is good for pulling & hauling, but not for spirited trail riding.

The ability to put forth a good amount of torque is a key factor. Being heavy enough to pull something is another significant factor. The ability to sustain traction runs parallel with towing but is also important. No photos, huh? Thanks any how
