250 TB BEATING A WORKED 400 +
Okay i have been trying to sell my quad and stuff but it seems my asking price is a little, high? So i was wondering, my friend might be getting a 400 scrambler or w/e and i can't have him be talking down to me and everything... I also just wanna be able to beat the new Kawasaki 450? i think its called...I just want my tb to be a beast but still run pump gas, even if its like 89 or instead of 87 or even premium..And i also wanna be able to take it out in the snow! Favorite thing to do with out woring about anything blowing.. I called up az bad boy bought there read conversion kit, and he said" hes not familiar with it? I was thinking wth u sell the kits" So then i called up rick the other day and he said he can get all the parts and everything but it would take 2 months since he is soo busy lol..I was like ok dont think i can wait that long.. So i was just wondering what will make me beat worked 400s -450s to 350 banshees and stuff like that, i hear port and polish but i heard that does not give you more more hp... Please help!

You can get just soooooo much out of the 250 and by the time you do a reed conversion you could have a good down payment on a good 400 Scrambler.
Size and speed dont alway win.My son rides a Warrior and his buddy has a 400EX and the only place the 400 kicks his butt is on the roads.They are even on trails and hills.

Reed conversion is only 545 or so from az bad boy.. though would pay for a set of tires and rims lol
I was thinking port and polish,boerd carb,lighten flywheel
cuz to buy a scrammy 400, then i would need to sell my current back for a low price and i dont want to do that, i just rather put money into my quad to beat the faster quads..

A reall hp quad, dont be knocking on the the tb, they are soo comfortable when riding...
Are you guys sure that if i put like 600$ into my bike i can't hang with the scrammy 400 and stuff?

Remember with the more mods you get the more reliability you loose.
Ride your 250 until it NEEDS a top end job then get it ported and the head milled and when you get it back together you will think you have a new machine.
BTW my son is 14 and sold his TB to a buddy of mine because he had to have a FASTER quad with a clutch.
Now he finds out that his old TB was faster than he thought when its new owner smokes him.

Piston already died, had it redone wit a weisco piston and everything.. Like i know my tb is fast i just need more speed bottem and top, so i was thinking maybe rick could hook me up with some stuff, but i have noo clue what to start with, I was thinking port polish. but has anyone had a reed conversion done? How much does it cost? What kinds of quads can u beat..
