Default Bad cluth or rod bearing?

My buddy said it would be a total difffrent set up being the sled runs up to 12000 rpm or better and the polaris one lunger 500 might turn half that. He said the springs and wheights would intercahange. If it doesn't work I can ebay it and pay for a clutch rebuild for the quad. The comet is brand new so I can't go wrong.

do not use a snowmobile clutch on an atv. they are a totally difernt set up. even the sheeves arent the same pitch on them. the thing to look for on your clutch being wore out would be weights, pins, and al the bushings, plus rollers. your better off to either by a used clutch off ebay(that will workfor your bike) or rebuild your clutch. my .02
