I just bought my very first ATV. I am considering adding on a winch and it could be a light duty type. I probably won't be using it a lot BUT just in case, I would like to have one. My Polaris is a 1991 Trail Boss 350/Liquid. It now has a plow on it and I just don't see where I would mount a winch... Any pointers?

yea i looked at differnt companies and i didnt see any for that either. guess you could have one made that would have to bolt to the frame around or thru the front screen some how. would have to see it. good luck.

 

You might want to check into that new VERSA
(1500 lb) winch, check out Polaris web site not
sure if they use some type of universal mount
kit?

yep that looks like a good one. too bad you didnt have the sizes, you could make one out of a few pices of steel.

 

I may make one yet. I am an engineer and the company I work for has a small machine shop. I am a tinker'r myself an always prefer making my own stuff. For a winch, I am thinking about one of those $55 Gorilla 2,000 lb cheapo's. After all this is a 16 year ols ATV.
