Default Trailblazer Throttle Stuck Wide Open

Any other ideas before I bite the bullet and get a new throttle cable? I found one for $35, so that's not too bad. I just want to ride. The money isn't the problem, but rather the time it takes to get here lol. How hard are these to replace? It seems kind of hard to get to where it attatches to the butterfly.

I think that's what I'm going to do. I don't want to mess with it then find out that the throttle still sticks while out on the trail. My butterfingers won't be able to make it to the kill switch before I hit a tree lol.

Is the cable routed the same as it was before? If it's not it could be binding.

Yup, it was routed the exact same way. I never had moved it or anything. I took the gas tank off and clipped of the zip ties, so there is nothing that it could be hung up on. I talked to a guy yesterday that had the same thing happen on his Yamaha and it was because of a frayed cable. It kept getting hung up.
