Hawkman, just a heads up here, but I think most national/state/local parks require the spark arrester be installed and may be a finable offence to run without it, not sure where you ride but you may want to keep this in mind...don't want you starting any fires when things dry out later this summer!

really? doesnt the spark only come out during a backfire? but i dont run it in any parks and stuff, just run around in sand. but i will look that up, thanks.

Its not sparks that you're worried about. Its hot particles of carbon that accumulate in the exhaust system or carbon from inside the combustion chamber. The screen keeps them contained.

Hey, (how are ya doing today)

Can some one please tell me more in detail as to were(is the carb slide near the carberator or am i way off) and how to drill the (Carb Slide) to make my Hawkeye 300 Quicker on the Throttle Response!!! A picture would really be nice!! And i am try to find a better Muffler to put on my hawkeye also, will any slip on muffler work as long as it fit's the end of my Pipe, and that it is made for a 4-Stroke!! Thanks for any advice. Help Me Please!!!!

P.S. I have also ordered a UNI Filter & a DynoJet Ket, but have not recieve them yet. I will Post the Results !!

Send a PM to Mickelonis or maybe mickelonis1 as he did a nice picture slide show of how to drill the slide a while back.

when you take 2 rollers out of the carb how much is your top speed dropped?
