Default sportsman 500 clutch housing is grinding away

I know that there is all ways discussion on polaris belt issues, but my trouble is that the drive clutch is grinding a hole in the plastic housing where the pulley bolt is. Is there an adjustment to push the clutch in? Does anyone make a deeper housing. I want to see if this is an easy fix or do I have to see the dealer? This is on a 98 500 sportsman. thanks

yes I took the cover off, its the bolt holding the drive clutch that is rubbing, i have not checked the motor mounts yet, is this a common problem?
