All I can say is this: I have over 1/2 the engine hours and miles on this than I had on the MV. I had tat 6 monthes, I had this 2 weeks. I brought it home today. Everything still works, I put gas in it, it is ready for yet another trip. I need to get the service done. I put 8 hrs on it(70 miles), "I" changed the oil, now it has 17 hrs( 138 miles), dealer needs to do his thing, and do it in a hurry. It is summertime fellas, I got some riding to catch up on. And believe me, I can "Catch anything" on this. (except for that dang Suzuki sprot quad that passed me about 7:30 this morning, he had that thing cranking) LOL!!!!

Insitgator,

I'll be going bigger next month. I'm going with either the Can-Am 650 or the Brute Force 750 (2008). It's been almost two months now that you've had yours, would you mind updating this thread with your impressions, likes-dislikes, etc.?

TIA!!

i still like the plush ride of the sportsman over the kawi bikes though.. they feel more stable. I've had that same problem with the lower a-arm pins coming out. At least the rest of the suspension is strong enough so that it can be driven out of the woods... imagine breaking a lower a-arm bolt on one of the japanese machines and needing to be towed out.

You are correct on the "rest is strong enough to get you out." If pin breaks, I'll have some chance at putting a chisel or something in there!

As for my likes and dislikes, It is hard to compare because I changed my riding style at the same time I got this quad. I don't want to bash anything, but "I" believe this is the quad for me. I like the quick steering, CVT feels better to me than PVT, I like the rear brakes (oil bath), I like the awesome throttle response, and never ending pull of the power band. This is way more than what I need in these trails, but I'll take it, LOL!!!!! The only thing that I can say bad about this is the crappy suspension. But, of coarse, I am 300 lbs too. I fixxed that problem with $2,200 Elkas. I could have got something cheaper, but you guys know me! They haven't come in yet.(8 business days). I truelly believe that if Polaris would have redesigned the rear lower hub mount I probably never would have jumped ship, my next quad would have been that updated model! I do feel a little bored on here now. I used to be on all the time, but now nothing to talk about, haven't broke anything!

WOW No mods eh??? I'm sure for the $2200 on shocks that would have been enough for 2200 bolts for your rear suspension. Thats enough for 500 times LOL But as long as you're happy, we're happy. Unfortuanatly I don't think your used Kawi parts will help me out LOL

On the other hand if you had a Ford you wouldn't have to push the Dodge. Joking.
