Double a- arms are going to hang down lower than the current struts..........Correct???........With the weight of these quads..........The front end will sure tend to sink now!!!!....Caper.............

no, a MacPhearson strut uses the lower A arm of what would be double A arm set up, but without the upper a-arm and a huge shock and hub system and alot of metal

the double A arm and new rear suspension should lighten the quad a considerable ammount, ive heard rumors of a new hybrid steel/aluminum frame but its more of a rumor than anything else

What I hear is, the X2 will be a 500, 700 and 800 efi, but no 700 efi regular sp700. The Hawkeye will be a SP300. The engines will still be the same, but with lighter weight, should feel quicker and more powerful.

I would like to see a major rework on the scrambler. Also a true 800 for the Sportsman with more power and less weight would be nice

Yeah, the Grizz already has the swept back a-arms. It rides pretty nice. That design really soaks up alot of the bumps. Much less rider fatigue!

Maybe with the new double a arm design, that thing will actually steer now!

Does anyone know if they will bridge the gap between the Phoenix 200 and Scambler/Predator/ and Outlaw 500s after they got rid of the trailblazer last year. We are looking at getting a new sport quad maybe a little bigger than the phoenix, but no bigger than really a 300. Also, does anyone know of updates to the Phoenix??

Thanks in advance,

Jim

"the double A arm and new rear suspension should lighten the quad a considerable ammount, ive heard rumors of a new hybrid steel/aluminum frame but its more of a rumor than anything else"

There was an article in Quad magazine last year about about Polaris coming out with a new Sportsman platform that was supposed to be way lighter, like 550lbs. dry, I doubt a sportsman even with a new frame and suspension would be that light, mostly because it seems that the Sportsman's heft is one of the things people like about them, however, to finally see the scrambler updated with IRS and double a-arm front suspension with an SP800 motor coming in at 550lbs. would be AWESOME! The Dealer show is July 28th in Nashville, so we'll know for sure then, but 2-1/2 months is a long time. Maybe Spyder6 has more info he's not sharing, Spyder6, know anything else? like Scrambler updates finally, (after ten years), or what the weight of this new Sportsman will be? That's it, Talk ta y'all later.

I guess no hope for a 600 class? I would like to see
a better cargo box in the front, at least a lil deeper
and water proof!

Regards,

R'
