ok , guys .....first my temperature gauge flashes on and off , once in a while ....coolant level is ok .......also after about a hr of running , bike shuts off , gotta wait for a second or 2 and start her back up , keeps doing this , then all of a sudden she runs fine for another hr or so .....could this be the ignition ???? i hear the 700's have ignition trouble .......i have a hard time going out with friends in fear of being towed back home ........

 

well since them dont have a controll modual like the newer ones thats a good question about why it shuts down. my wifes 06 450 hot warming flashed and its never shut down until we turn it off even if it overheats. does sound like electrical for sure.

 

i'm going to try replacing the temperature sensor , but when the bike shuts off , all power is lost until i turn key off then back on.......i hope the ignition is the problem , then i can rectify it
