I have a 2001 500 H.O. and I hooked up a tack to the engine. I want to try some clutching changes and I need to know what the peak engine RPM is. Has anyone tried the high altitude primary weights? They are 44 grams.

I haven't actually installed the tach yet, it's on order as well as the weights. The tach I seen was in the 2001 accessory book. The price is 49.99 and the part number is: #2873108 I plan on installing it underneath the warning lights. The dealer said insallation is easy. It should just plug in.
