Sportsman 800 Problems
the only heating issues is from a blocked radaitor. my wifes 450 has the same result when its full of mud. besides running hotter there isnt any other mechanical reason for the overheats that im aware of. ive heard a few engine mounts have broke, but i keep checking mine and so far so good. i'll have to run up agaist a kq 700 to see if he can beat me for top end speed. but over all i like my ride and true awd.

The Can-Ams ARE nice, and they do haul some ***, but have you ever looked underneath one and then underneath your Polaris. The Po po has ALOT of underbody protection compared to the NONE Can AM gives you. I believe that you can purchase a bolt on skid plate set...but IMO, what a waste. I would say go with the 800 SP and don't look back. Good power, great ride, and with a little cleaning of the radiator from time to time, you'll be good to GO!

I agree the can am is a much faster bike. 93 mph fast. at least I think thats what it was. But keep in mind the Can am is almost 200lbs lighter. that means less protection and its not as durable. But steve it really matters what you want. if you the fastest utility fourwheeler go can am but if you want strength, reliability, good protection, and speed the 800 is the way to go. but its want you want
