Thanks for the info. I wonder if they make that fan in a puller type? I would need that type since I would be mounting it behind the oil cooler. I also wonder if it could be modified in some way to make it a puller fan?

Yes they make a puller. Go to the Spal site and you can see that same fan. I would rather have a puller too, but that was all I could find on Ebay.

I found a website, JayCorp Technologies that sells the SPAL 5.6" paddle bladed puller fan for $39. The wiring harness costs more that the fan, it was $47. That was with the relay, and thermostat. I hope the fittings that come with it will fit the cooler since the thermostat is an inline fitting, not a bulb type. It says the fan pulls 3.4 amps max., I hope the system will support that.
If I decide to go with it, I will post up some pic's.
