Default new (to me) polaris

Hello i just bought a 1996 polaris xplorer 400 4x4 it is in very good condishon exept the 4x4 dose not work.I have owned 4 wheelers for years but never a polaris so i don't know what to look for on it. If anybudy can help me it would be greatly appershated thank's[img]i/expressions/beer.gif[/img]

Default new (to me) polaris

Check the light bulb in the AWD button it has to burn to complete the 4x4 circut.Then change the hub fluid.

Default new (to me) polaris

When you fill them to where hub oil comes out with the hole set at 3 oclock or 9 oclock.Use Polaris hub oil or type F trannny fluid.
