2007 500X2 Wouldn't go into reverse in 4WD
I've been bitching for a month that my new Polaris wouldn't spin the front tires when back up in reverse. I got stuck several times and it wouldn't back out.
Finally called the dealer and he told me you have to hold down the yellow reverse over ride button to activate four wheel drive in reverse. Did everyone else know this but me. DAAAAAAAAAAA

Yes...LOL!!
What's really handy to have is a Reverse Override Swith. HERE is a picture of mine, it's the switch on the top left. Instead of holding the yellow button in, you just flip the switch. This feature is extremely beneficial when using reverse a lot, like when plowing snow. And also when stuck in mud or snow when you have to get off the bike but still operate the throttle and need your other hand free to do something else.
I got my switch from quadovator.com.
