Two of my co-workers own 2006 700 EFI's with the Mossy Oak Camo package. They are having issues with the stickers turning purple. We are guessing from reading on the forum that it is from heat issues. I have not found a specific thread for this problem and was hoping someone could enlighten us if they have had the same problems and will Polaris help out at all on the replacement. These 700's are very well taken care of and garage kept. Any thoughts out there??????

 

my dealer told thats what they all did after a few yrs. the camo that is.

 

I can see in a few years.............But he listed them as 2006................I seen BLUE quads turn PURPLE..........................but not camo yet!!!!...........Caper..........

 

I hope mine doesn't turn purple, cause then CAPER will make fun of me LOL

 

Don't forget mine is "BLUE" for now also............We don't want to be seen together on the trail with both of us having "PURPLE" quads.................LOL......LOL...........LOL.. ....Caper..........

 

I think I'll just keep mine BROWN lol It seems to be happy then

i've never had the problem, I had a camo 05 700 EFI and now an 06 Camo 800....

the discoloration i've seen is from the sun....I use Turtlewax F21 Super Protectant on the camo, it keeps it looking like new and blocks the UV rays from the sun...

 

Thanks for all the input guys. They have been in touch with the dealership and hopefully the dealer will at least meet the guys half way.
