I seen the same problem with hunting blinds. If you leave them out in the sun for long periods of time they too will turn a shade of pink. The sun bleaches out the ink pigments in the camo pattern. THAT is why I steered clear of a camo atv.

 

I went through this same thing back in March with my came sp 500. I was on the last month of my warranty and the camo was turning purple. The dealer replaced my camo with green, which I requested b/c of the problems I discovered with camo, and he gave and installed a winch to make up for the difference. He said that this is a known problem and IT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
