i have a chance to pick up an 86(?) trailboss..i think thats the year
He said it needs a clutch. Figure he means either the driver or driven units on the tranny.
Or maybe it needs new buttons and springs. But i can get it for 250 dollars would it be worth it in parts to fix it up?
Thanks all

I have a 1987 Polais Cyclone. My quad was based and is almost just like the old Trail Boss. My quad rocks and has lots of power. I have modified it and actually you are lucky because you have an excuse to modify the clutch. If I was you i would get it and get Lighter clutch weights and a modified clutch kit {they are everywhere in Dirt Wheels magazine} I modified my quad except the clutch and my dealer said that if i did modify it It would make a huge difference...
1987 Polais CYclone, Bored stoked Weisco style. Carb kit. Sprockets, Titan Tires, Dyno pipes, and paint job.
