Default temp gauge ''T''

Hello all, im going to be doing the temp gauge mod for my 02' 500 ho sportsman, and I wanted to know where I could get the ''T'' connection that goes in the top radiator hose. I know I can get one from ebay, but I was wondering if anyone made a homemade one out of fittings and what you needed to do it. Thank you for your time.

Local hardware/plumbing store is where I get mine for my quads. They are plastic with barbed ends & a threaded top and cost $1.59 each.

its much easier IMO to install the temp gauge sensor into the cylinder head where the "hot" light sensor is located. for $13 the sunpro temp gauge at any auto parts store comes with the proper fittings too!

Sweet, I m getting the sunpro white faced gauge that has the four different light color options, I noticed while I was shopping around for gauges that there were fittings inside, I didnt know if any would work or not. Im justing tying to cover all the bases before I start the install. Thank you both very much, and have a great day.
